Tammy Weitzman is a Clinical Social Worker with 22 years of experience working at large academic medical institutions and cancer centers in the United States and Canada. She has been a recognized leader in clinical Social Work in the field of medical/hematology oncology. Her experience includes clinical care, program development and consultation. She has participated in many academic projects and presented her work at national and international conferences.

In private practice, she has specialized in working with people challenged by health issues, loss and grief. She has facilitated numerous in person support groups for young adults living with serious illness. She maintains a special interest in Allogeneic blood and marrow transplantation, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Post Traumatic Growth and working with families whose loved ones are unlawfully detained abroad.

Tammy strives to impact and support many lives in the community, through various types of counseling, support groups and clinical supervision. Aiming to guide and hold space for others through difficult experiences, so they feel equipped in handling all life has to offer.
