Our History
Founded by Tammy Weitzman, LCSW, the Center of Loss and Grief Counseling is dedicated to walking alongside those that are grieving significant experiences and transitional moments that transform their lives. Located in the beautiful city of Charlotte, North Carolina, the center provides aid to individuals, families and couples impacted by medical illnesses, violence and crime that often causes a sense of loss, or the death of a loved one.
In addition, grief support groups are held several times over the course of the year. The Center offers a supportive environment allowing for the expression and feelings associated with the loss and grief process.
Services also include psychoeducation to clinicians in the community as well as clinical supervision to licensed professionals and those who are pre- licensed.
